Bloc Loc Retreat & WorkshopEnjoy a weekend long workshop retreat with certified Bloc Loc instructor Angie Lamoree.
July 18th - 21st Angie has been quilting since 2005 and opened 5 Little Monkeys Quilt & Sew in 2017.
As a long-time quilter and long-armer, her passion has blossomed into not only making quilting accessible to anyone, but also teaching seasoned quilters new ways to quilt more accurately and efficiently. Her love of Bloc Loc rulers is the basis of most of her classes, lectures, and trunk shows, and the techniques she demonstrates are focused on these rulers.
During this Workshop Retreat Angie will teach you how to use 2 of the most popular Bloc Loc rulers while you create a gorgeous quilt! This workshop will also teach you about setting blocks on point and adding sashings! The two rulers you will be using in the workshop are the Log Cabin Ruler 1/2" & 1" Finished and Half-Square Triangle Ruler 2-1/2" x 2-1/2". Some of you may already own these. If not you can purchase them HERE.

Kismet is the quilt you will create to learn how to use the Bloc Loc rulers.
Kismet is a multiple-sized pattern that makes curved log cabin blocks with an usual twist–an inserted pinwheel in the center of each block. The trick is super-easy and fun and gives the blocks an exciting new look for log cabin blocks. The pattern has the cutting and piecing instructions to make a twin, queen or king sized quilt using the Bloc Loc 1/2″ and 1″ Log Cabin ruler and an HST 2 1/2″ ruler or larger. Each quilt has the benefit of sashing that completes the secondary look of circles, but you won’t have to contend with by using any special matching skills! This pattern is included in the workshop. The rulers are sold separately.
